About Us

We are a Bible-based, non-denominational Christian church in Vienna, Illinois.

Pleasant Ridge is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them to grow and create disciples for God's glory.

The Church of Second Chances was rebirthed with the first service being held on Christmas morning Christmas Day 2019 when many came to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The light on the hill is back on shining bright and every day God is revealing His plans and putting things in place so they can be fulfilled. The arms of Pleasant Ridge are open wide and is watching family come home. The Church of Second Chances was established.
